New mobility is a much-discussed topic in today’s world. But what exactly does it mean? There is no single definition; instead, different terms such as smart mobility and mobility concepts are used. At its core, however, it is about all forms of mobility, including new ones, expanding or replacing existing standards with the aim of reducing emissions and costs and taking advantage of digitalization.
This development is particularly relevant for fleet managers, as the car is no longer the sole answer to all mobility questions, especially for the younger generation. Fleet managers must therefore address new, more sustainable mobility concepts to meet the needs and expectations of their colleagues, customers and society.
